Classic Rock Bottom

I am back on the Time Wagon- great thing about it is you can jump on any Time, it's always running!
This Time, a Look and Listen to the 2 biggest complaints about Time- Waiting and Not Having Enough Time.
As things turn out though, properly used we may Have All The Time In The World.
Since I am never really sure what I am going to play, I found myself coming up short of Time in this Chapter.
So I quickly grabbed a song noteworthy not so much for its Musical value but for the Singer's imitation of his Father!
It may be worth the Price Of Admission alone- which is Nothing of course, lol!
Oh, and Scott Muni is in here!
Have fun!

RJ,
My answer would be too many, even I can't take that much of me, lol!
I waited so long to win the lottery, I stopped playing it!
Bookies give you more than the government anyway, lol!
Nice point about never enough time to spend with the family.
No Golden but a Classic Pell for No Time by The Guess Who!
I knew I'd play it, but figured it would fit nicely into one of the stops along the way.
I was right, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Okay, looks like I did some catching up today.  Question is, how many episodes did Jeffro listen to today?

The subject here was waiting too long and not enough time.  Well, I've been waiting a long time to win the lottery, still waiting.  And there's never enough time in the day to spend with the family and to spend with your hobby (music, of course).

Let's see, no notes so I'll just have to say that I'm not giving a Golden Pell today.  Instead, I'm giving a Classic Pell...for No Time by The Guess Who.  That is a totally killer song, and one I would definitely think of if I were doing a series on time.  Good job bro.

Jon,

Maybe it's because they are doing the songs live, but I couldn't get them right, lol!
Soft one I think I know, not sure, but sounds vaguely familiar.

The other was not.

Maybe cause I just woke up.

Here's the soft rock one:

Jon,
Now that you mention it, I think I do remember that from The Blues Brothers!
Wasn't that Scott Muni introduction GREAT, LOL?
He was just saying words.
Good point about the Climax Blues Band- besides the one I played I can only think of Going To New York!
I can't even think of the soft rock hit, lol!
If I pulled an album out that would change, but I am not cheating.
Well I gave the true explanation for that last jarring song, lol!
It is an interesting piece of history though.
I am NOT brainwashed by Hallmark and FTD, nor did I do a Valentimimes show last year!
Every few years I feel loving, other than that I am like you, LOL!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Wonder if anyone will remember that Booker T & The M.G.s song from The Blues Brothers? It's sped up a bit in the movie, but it's there!

Ok, that Scott Muni introduction was a "Wait.......What???" moment. I'm also curious if folks that know of the Climax Blues Band but don't KNOW them can name three songs. Two should be easy (the one you play doesn't count as any of the three). I have a double disc comp of their music and there's only two songs that I remembered hearing. One thing I did notice was that they weren't a soft rock band, even though they did have a big sift rock hit.

Yeah, that last song was a bit weird AND jarring. WTF?????

Nice show, better than the silly Valentimimes stuff. I understand you're obligated to do a Valentimimes show, probably because you've been brainwashed by Hallmark and FTD. But that's ok. Help is available.
