Scott, funny line!
Jon's a MORMON...HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Jon,
What did Scott do?
He gave a GPell to the Wreck, lol?
What was the followup, that was 1976...mmmm?
Pigged out and had no Thanksgiving leftovers!
You should be ashamed, lol!
Not only here, but I have to apologize for two other Bruuuuuuuuuce-traps.
I’ll get to them!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
Scott,
Turkey noodle soups sounds great!
I used to make sort of very spicy gravy with mainly leftover dark meat and vegetable that I would serve over noodles, delicioso!
Where the hell is that recipe, lol?
Ken knew Tim O’Brien because he was a big fan of Hot Rize, familiar with them?
He went to many of their concerts, very interesting act in what the would do after intermission.
Yes, I have always been a lyrics guy, not that I ignore the music.
See, I even recited some of the lyrics, it’s the Poetry, lol!
There is only ONE Jon. thank God!
The GPell Lives!
And a fave, Gordo gets it!
Good call!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike
Man, I so love The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. It is one of the most haunting songs I've ever heard. The guitar riff does the trick. And the story is so well told by GL. You know I dig it when you play him.
Anyway, I enjoyed the show, but like Scott said, can't beat the opener.
Scott's a moron.
that's my favorite GL song. The followup was pretty good as well.
HA! I had no Thanksgiving leftovers. Take THAT, America (and Scott)!
What's sad is that there's a mention or two of Bruuuuuuuuuce and now the second part has started and it features......Bruuuuuuuuce. Yay.
Thanks, Scott.
Hey Mike!! Love leftovers... My wife does a homemade turkey noodle soup the day after thanksgiving every year, its more popular than the thanksgiving dinner in my house!
Gonna be hard to top Lightfoot! What a great tune! That Engineer Ken is a pretty savvy guy musically as well! But what I most noticed about this show, and I should have noticed far sooner, is how tuned into the lyrics of these songs you really are. I tend to pay more attention to the layers of instruments and I'm sure you do as well, but that nuance stands out to me now... Wanna also add that I typed this before you called out the lyrics at the end, just sayin', and you can trust me on that because I'm not Jon...
Hard to overcome that opener though, GPell goes to Gordon. RJ can retire his GPell award, I'm not ready to let go of it yet...
There are no birthdays today
