ROCKOLLECTIONS: VOL1: FAVORITES AND GUILTY PLEASURES PT.1

It has occurred to me that this Rockollections show will not go on forever.
Some day, for some reason, it will end, as everything does including us.
So rather than wait to play particular songs in a Theme, or finding a reason to play them, I have decided to go for myself and just play them because I want to!
These are Favorites of mine encountered over the many years I've been listening to Music, and some may be just Guilty Pleasures on my part.
Included in this opening half are some what I named "Rock Me Out Bed Songs".
Because they literally would do just that, lol!
I invite you to my home, sit anywhere, and listen while I play some tunes for valued guests!

Please. For the love of all that's holy, do not pass on a "gem" from Gene Simmons. There is no such thing. You are quite delusional.

So you use lyrics from songs on your victims, huh? Remind me to pass on a few from gems from Gene Simmons one day.

Super show. The first four songs were good, especially Summertime Blues, just a killer song, but you turned up the heat with the last three songs.

I totally dig that Coasters song. Especially the backing vocals. I also liked the lyric "Learn to do the boogie with your big foot maid". That's great.

Believe it or not, this is the first time I've ever heard The Green Manalishi With The Two Pronged Crown. I've heard of it, but never heard it. I know that Judas Priest covered it, and I have that album, but have never listened to it. I didn't even realize that's what I was hearing until he mentioned it in the song. But it was great. I thought I would give it the Golden Pell, but not so fast...

The Golden Pell goes to Tim Buckley for Halucinations. What a killer, atmospheric song. I had no idea who it was until you said it. Great pick and nice show.

So, you would tell your date to check their watch? Watches are so 40's. Nobody wears watches anymore. Try telling them to check their cellphone, see what happens.

So, you say you don't like lists and then you say you have a list of your top 5 million songs. Did you forget what you had said? Is this something to be concerned about?

What do you think of The Who's version of Summertime Blues?

THE GREEN MANALISHI! Wonder how many people know the Judas Priest version more than the original version from Fleetwood Mac?

This was a good show, but if you're going to get through your list (which you claim you don't have) how many shos is that going to take? Average 8 songs per show, that's like 625000 shows. That's a lot. I think you shuld do them all in one sitting. It'll only take a day or two.
