You're so flighty, lol!
No, I didn't watch it. The urge passed.
That song by Iris Dement (definitely spelled wrong, too lazy to look it up) is quite nice even though there is a bit of country-leaning in the voice. Very nice.
You say J.J. Jackson and I immediately think of MTV when it meant something. Is it weird that I remember the names of the original VJ's?
SO, did Ronnie Dio have much of a career after the 60's? Name rings a bell but I just can't place it.
I just had the incredible urge to watch "Heavy Metal". Not the greatest movie in the world, but it has awesome music.
I like these mix shows. No real theme, just throw stuff at the wall. Yes!!!!!
I liked part 2 better than part 1, but 1 was good too.
It's funny to me how different Ronnie Dio sounds on that song. Of course, the song is so different from what he became famous for. But it's cool to hear.
I loved the Chuck Berry song. What a great story song. I've really begun to like CB. This one get's the GP.
But It's Alright is an amazing song by J.J. Jackson. I've heard it many times, but never really listened to it. It's got a killer beat and riff and is a marvelous musical song. And the vocal is terrific. Just a great song, so good I'm about to find it on Youtube and post is in one of the Facebook groups I'm a member of.
The two closing songs were enjoyable as well, especially the Merle Haggard song. Good work my friend.
