“Murderous Horde” is the new video from Washington D.C.-based female-fronted heavy metal act A SOUND OF THUNDER, The song comes off the band’s second full-length album, “Out Of The Darkness”, which will be released on March 27 .

Nice Sabbath-sounding riff. If you ask me, it's a smash. Maybe a minor one, but still.

I'm with Niels on this, SMASH. Even though I like a lot of the symphonic metal with female frontwomen, it's good to hear a  straight metal band with a women with a decent voice (even though, as Tageryche said, some of it comes off overwrought).

Looks like I'm the tie-breaker.   I say......SMASH.  I liked the Sabbath vibe too Niels.  I also liked the tempo change.  I wouldn't call the vocals great, but they weren't bad.  I'm not ready to buy the album, but I certainly wouldn't mind hearing more of it.

The music & vocals were alright in the beginning, I was digging it, then near the end it went wrong for me. It seemed, they were trying too hard to sell me that this is a dark heavy metal song. I got that with the riff & the dark imagery in the video, I didn't need it crammed down my throat with the over the top vocals. It wasn't horrible, but it's nothing that I'm dying to listen to again, so for me no SMASH! I agree with Jon, it's good to see a metal band with a female frontwoman & her voice was decent, but it all seemed too over produced. So for me, it's gotta' be TRASH!
