We all have a soft side, admit it! Power Ballads play a big part of our musical lives, whether you like them or not. Remember that first really close slow dance with that special someone ? I do, and that song is in my list because of it! Regardless of if you do or don't, these songs do something to us. So now that Hidden Treasures has previewed some of these for you, lets find out who has the best taste when it comes to Power Ballads (hint: his name starts with "S") ...
Please review each of the 5 lists posted and tell us what we missed, what we got right, what you would have done different, and who's the biggest softie (or wimp if you see it that way ) ...

That Honeymoon Suite tune is awesome! Great addition! And Peter Cetera and Zeppelin and #1 and #2, awesome list!
Thanks I tried to mix them up. I have always liked Honeymoon Suite for some reason. Those were one of those bands I always thought were close to making it big. Stairway is kind of predictable I know but if you think about it, it sort of set the standard for what power ballads would become. I don't know why the Peter Cetera tune stood out to me but I remember it being on the soundtrack for the Karate Kid 2, lol. I always liked that song.
Honeymoon Suite is a vastly underrated band. I have their first three albums and they are just great.
Love the inclusion of Seger's The Famous Final Scene. I forgot about that one.
Think I totally spaced out Lady by Styx! Nice pick there too!
It would've been on my list, but Suite Madame Blue edged it.
I don't think I picked a Top 5 from Scandal yet:
5. Wanted Dead Or Alive - Bon Jovi
4. I Never Cry - Alice Cooper
3. Tuesday's Gone - Lynyrd Skynyrd
2. Lady - Styx
1. The Famous Final Scene - Bob Seger
While the Stryper "Honestly" song is definitely a power ballad, it is such a BAD song...
