What is so good to you right now, you're listening to it A LOT????
For me, right now, it's:
Solo CD from Slash - really diggin' it...a whole variety of different styles of songs, and guitar tones and styles...Slash really did a great job on this effort! (Yes, I'm always late in buying new stuff!)
"Order Of The Black" by Black Label Society....Zakk and his band totally smoke on this one...who needs Ozzy, when you can play like Zakk? Having said that, I'm also listening to...
"Scream" by Ozzy...his best since "No More Tears" IMO.
"Menace To Sobriety" by Ugly Kid Joe...bought this because I found it for just $3.99, and decided to take a chance. It rocks!! UKJ is one band that always tries to use humor in a lot of their lyrics.
"Smoke And Mirrors" by Lynch Mob...yeah, its already close to 2 years old, but its a great listen!
And finally, yes, yes, hell yes!!! I'm still listening to the self-titled discs from Big Jim Slade and King Kobra! Killer music...the BJS features rich, layered, textured harmony and melody, especially on vocals, and the King Kobra just jams with some killer tuneage.

Robert Plant/Jimmy Page- No Quarter- Recorded in 1994, its a live reworking of some of the zep songs. The last 4 songs, thats the way, gallows pole, four sticks and kashmir and incredible.
Van Halen (A Different Kind Of Truth) - I'll say it for the 100th time, this is way above anything I thought they were capable of at this point. This is probably the best album of the last 5 years, maybe even since the turn of the century for me. Very heavy rotation.
Jack Blades (Rock 'n' Roll Ride) - A totally infectious album.
Shinedown (Amaryllis) - I stand alone on this one, but I find it hard to beat Brent Smith's vocal melodies.
I have one more, but I'm not gonna list it right now because it's the upcoming Album of the Week.
Iron Maiden's En Vivo! live CD is the one album I've been listening to repeatedly recently.
I have two albums on 'eavy rotation, and I will post them next weekend in NMC.Right now, both of those albums have pushed "A different kind of truth" down on 3rd place on my personal Top "10"-list so far in 2012. But that's just me, I guess.
There are 3 or 4 songs in the middle of ADKOT, that I don't really need to hear anymore.
Both "Chemical Wedding" and "Accident of Birth" by Bruce Dickinson
Still the new Van Halen
"Handful of Rain" by Savatage
"Death Comes Tomorrw" by Lillian Axe
The new Sebastian Bach
New Van Halen
New Jack Blades
New Nightwish (keeps getting better and better with each listen)
Iron Maiden--Number Of The beat
A couple East Village Opera Company albums
ABBA compiliation
Edguy--Rocket Ride
Hall & Oates--Beauty On A Back Street , Along The Red Ledge
Plus a band I have mentioned a lot this year that I'm going to do something with in March.....(lots of geetar Gordon!)
March of 2013?
Norma Jean Fox
