Ok, what's a lyrical line you like so much, you just wish you had written it? I was listening to this in the car this morning on the way to work...from the song "Devil's Road" by King Karma...
"...with another man's woman...selling blood for alcohol..."
Can you imagine? Being so desperate to get high you sell your blood...its kinda funny...kinda sad...but a very cool line for a rock song!

Darn straight! I wish I would have thunk of this beauty:
"I wanna put my log in your firelplace" - Gene Simmons (Burn Bitch Burn - Animalize, 1984)
Hopefully you guys realize that was a joke. I'll have something better later.
Heres a couple that come to mind...
"Communication is the problem to the answer"
10cc, The Things We Do For Love
"I'm going to be a happy idiot
And struggle for the legal tender
Where the ads take aim and lay their claim
To the heart and the soul of the spender
And believe in whatever may lie
In those things that money can buy
Thought true love could have been a contender
Are you there?
Say a prayer for the pretender
Who started out so young and strong
Only to surrender"
Jackson Browne - The Pretender
"She was a black haired beauty with big dark eyes/and points all her own, sittin' way up high/Way up firm and high"
Bob Seger! from Night Moves, I believe. But I enjoyed the Gene Simmons one...he's got a million or so, of those.
"I got it in my hands...I got it right here in my hands...and its for you baby...I think I'm gonna yank on it one time..." from the original studio version of Uncle Theodore's "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang"...double entrede for sure...'cause he surely does yank on his guitar and play a burnin' lead right after this rap. I still laugh at it over 30 years later!
How 'bout album titles:
Take Off Your Pants And Jacket - Blink 182
Don't know any of their work, but I love that album title.
Also:
Big Hits and Nasty Cuts - Twisted Sister
Song Titles:
ILBT's - Joe Walsh
W.A.S.P.'s Animal (F**k Like A Beast).
Come on now, the song that pissed off ever BS Washington politician's wife...
Thats a good one...and it seems familiar...fill us in Jon...where did it come from?
Yep, that's a great line from a great song.
There are no birthdays today
