Classic Rock Bottom

It is Celebrate Your Name Week, a holiday established in 1997 by American Onomatology hobbyist Jerry Hill.
Hill prescribed the first full week in March as a week for everyone worldwide to embrace and celebrate his or her name.
In this 21st Century, the most common names for boy and girl babies are Jacob and either Sophia or Emily (depending upon the source).
But if you combine the 20th and 21st Century, the Most Popular Names are mercifully still John and Mary!
So there's the premise for this short Series, Songs For John And Mary.
I'll start with John- no Male Chauvinist, just doing it cleverly Alphabetically, lol!

Here are the links to my selected John songs, with Mary coming next time, at Mike Pell Rockollections:

Jon,
Honestly, with Robert Palmer many times I am the bored one, lol!
Yes, I believe you will never be good, no matter how many times you hear songs about it!
It's the way you roll, lol!
That wasn't Men At Work, it was a Colin Hay song from a solo album.
Jon comes before Mary, not known for his staying power, but so what?
It has a happy ending for you, right?
I must thank YOU for allowing a show dedicated to you without your prior permission or compensation, lol!
While I could do a full year of shows, my brain would likely explode!
Thanks for the listen and writing, tell you why I am late next time,
Mike

I like Robert Palmer but he has always sounded bored singing this song. Kinda funny. Don't know why he would be bored singing a song about Jon.

Yeah, this Jonny will never be good. No matter how many different versions of the song you play, I refuse to listen to the message.

That Men At Work song was my favorite from that album. Probably because it was about me, but there they go again trying to tell me to be good.

Of course Jon comes before Mary.

Wait a minute......that could be taken in a wrong way. But, you know what I mean. Or do you?

Mystery Trend? Now THAT'S a band name.

Thanks for having a show dedicated to me. You could do a full years+ of shows, but there's only so much of me you can spread around. Not that I get tiring, but too much of me is apt to make a person's brain explode.
