RJ,
I knew I liked that Carole King song, frankly I am surprised how many others did.
And she almost got her first Golden Pell!
But the Golden Pell goes to The Bee Gees for their amazing sound-alike of the Beatles.
It really is true how I would play it in my house for people.
I hadn't noticed, but this show WAS full of big names in the music biz.
Wonder what was wrong with me, lol?
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Jon,
Monty Python would have been good there but I couldn't think of anything to play by them.
As for that Bee Gee song sounding like The Beatles, people handled it nicely, lol!
They were just surprised.
Let me guess, the Carole King album you own is Tapestry, lol!
That is a good song though.
Let's wait and see if I play that song you mentioned, think I will.
Oh I'll manage to do something to ruin it.
Maybe next show, lol!
Thanks for the listen and writing,
Mike

Good show Mike. I was gonna give Carole King her first Golden Pell, but then you went and messes that up by playing The Bee Gees. And that tune certainly sounded like The Beatles.

That last track you played was pretty good too. But the Golden Pell goes to The Bee Gees.

Did you notice? This show was full of big names in the music biz, all except maybe that last one.

And I thought you were going to say "And now for something completely different" and then lead into some Monty Python, but you didn't and it didn't.

Hey, you were right. That Bee Gee song DID sound like The Beatles. Hopefully nobody punched you when they found out the truth behind your lie.

That Carole King song was quite good. And, yes. I do own a Carole King album. I think everyone owns that album.

That's ok. I will wait and see if you play that one song I mentioned. I'm patient. If you don't, no big deal.

Great series so far. Now, don't go ruining it.
