Classic Rock Bottom

This will be the last time, I'm going to write this, because it's the bloody same every week after all, so from now on, I'll just post the video's and add some lyrics to every video, but for the very last time: 5 new video's and 2 classic video's where one of them MIGHT have some cheesefactor. Here we go:

MY DARKEST DAYS - MOVE YOUR BODY

My Darkest Days is a Canadian rock band based in Toronto. This is the opening song on their 2010-debut album and their newest video.

MALIGNO - SHINE

“Shine”, the new video from Mexican doom rockers MALIGNO, has made its way online. The clip was filmed in Monterrey, Mexico with director Adrix Gaal.

PAIN - DIRTY WOMAN

“Dirty Woman”, the new video from PAIN, the Swedish industrial metal outfit led by musician and producer Peter Tagtgren, has been released. The song comes off the band’s seventh album, “You Only Live Twice”, which will be released on June 3 on Nuclear Blast Records.

THE PRETTY RECKLESS - MAKE ME WANNA DIE

The Pretty Reckless is an American alternative rock band from New York. The current members are Taylor Momsen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Ben Phillips (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mark Damon (bass) and Jamie Perkins (drums).
Their debut album, Light Me Up, was released on August 30, 2010. Alt for dig, min gode ven, Jon.

SEETHER - COUNTRY SONG

Seether is a post-grunge/alternative metal band from Pretoria, South Africa, formed in 1999. The band is currently signed to Wind-up Records. Originally named Saron Gas and signed to Musketeer Records in South Africa, they changed their name in 2002, coinciding with the release of their second album and major label debut, Disclaimer. A new single/video from the forthcoming album "Holding On To Strings Better Left To Fray", out on may 17, 2011.

THE FIRM - SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

The Firm were an English rock supergroup comprising former Free and Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers, ex-Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, ex-Uriah Heep and Manfred Mann's Earth Band drummer Chris Slade and bass player Tony Franklin. Page and Rodgers originally wanted former Yes drummer Bill Bruford and fretless bassist Pino Palladino in the group; however, Bruford was contracted to another label and Palladino had tour commitments with singer Paul Young.
This is a cool video, I think. I bought both albums when they were released back in the '80s, but I was dissapointed then. But it's cool to see this video, and it's an okay song.

SKID ROW - YOUTH GONE WILD

I never liked this band, but here's a video anyway. From their 1989-debut album.

That's it!

MALIGNO ... .01 points

I liked the parts where they werent singing

PAIN ... 0 points

For Industrial metal its not too bad, but its just nowhere near my style.

THE PRETTY RECKLESS ... 1 point

Liked the song and this would be 2 points if the light flashes were not in the last half of the video.

My Darkest Days---sadly this won't play and this was the video I was most looking forward to playing. NOT!

Maligno--1 point

I don't have an issue with his voice, sounds like a singer from the 70's. I think this band had some good chops.

Pain--1 point

Song not bad but I was most interested in the video. The stuff with the drummer was funny and what's with the rabbit and the bear at the end? And this is going to be continued? We (or I) need more!

Skid Row - 2 points. I loved the song, I loved the band.

The Firm--1 point

Yep, count me in as one of them that bought then album when it first came out and was totally undewhelmed. Haven't even bothered to get it on CD. Song is ok, and is that the most animated that JP has ever been?

Skid Row--0 points

Never cared for this song back then and still don't. Dislike this album immensely. Now, if you were to post something from the followup, why that's a totally different story.

And to revisit a video that I had watched earlier:

The Pretty Reckless--2 points

Still really like it.

Finally got back to finish these:

My Darkest Days (N/A)

No longer available.  Dang it, I wanted to see the ladies.

Pain (1 Point)

For the video.  I'm sorry to sound sexist, but any video that features hot ladies will get 1 point from me.  I also liked the fact that the drummer was destroying his drums the whole time.  I really like the song musically, but the high vocals ruin it for me.  If he stayed with the normal vocals, I'd give it another point for the song.
