I'm not sure how many of you guys are into podcast listening, but I'm always looking for a cool one to listen to. Let's use this thread to post links to podcasts that others on this site may find interesting.
I started a thread a few days ago regarding the Decibel Geek Podcast, so I won't list it here (but you can click on the link if you are interested).
Today I'm posting a link to the From Out Of Nowhere podcast. The podcast description is:
From Out Of Nowhere features interviews with musicians, comedians and authors, a bi-weekly music show, plus parody and rants from hosts Eric Furniss and Rob Kern. It's our job to feature the loud and independent spirit of pop culture, be it rock, outlaw country, metal or blues. Some of the names you might not be familiar with but open your ears and crank it up, it's all about being turned on to something new here at FOON!
I downloaded the most recent episode, which is a terrific interview with Tom Werman. Here's a description of the show:
If you were a rock fan in the 70’s, 80’s or 90’s, then you probably recognize the name Tom Werman. As an A&R man for Epic Records he signed bands that included REO Speedwagon, Ted Nugent, Boston and Cheap Trick. As a producer he has over 20 gold and platinum records to his name and helmed top sellers from Cheap Trick, Motley Crue, Ted Nugent and many others.
Tom talks with FOON about getting his start in the industry, his A&R years, working as a producer with Cheap Trick, Motley Crue, Ted Nugent and Motley Crue and how he went from the record industry to owning a successful Bed & Breakfast in Massachusetts.
So please, if anybody else has a link to an interesting podcast, please post it here. Also, if anyone is interested and has an iPod, but doesn't know how to get the podcast, please ask, I'll be glad to help.

I used to listen to a few different podcasts mostly related to science fiction TV shows but I don't listen to much of anything anymore.
The only two music ones I listen to are Irish and Celtic music podcasts, both by the same guy Marc Gunn. He does The Pub Songs Podcast and The Irish and Celtic Music Podcast
Nada for me except for Decibel Geek now, and you can throw in Mike Pell's and Michael Andrade's podcasts as well. I listen at work and sometimes I miss a lot of what's being said in case I'm actually working.
I have that same problem.
Here's another one I just found, courtesy of Facebook. This one is new and it's just two guys talking about music. No music is played, just talk. It's only 30 minutes, so that's cool too. And any genre is covered.
