Classic Rock Bottom

What TV are you enjoying lately?

For me:

Monday nights I watch House and Chicago Code then Castle. I absolutely love Castle. House is slipping and Chicago Code is a way to kill an hour. On On Demand I watch Harry's Law which has been surprisingly entertaining. I also watch Chuck (good unless it is a scene with the Buy More people) and Hawaii Five-O which has been decent. Oh, and I watch How I Met Your Mother online.

Tuesdays I watch NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles with my mom and love both shows. I also watch The Good Wife which has been superb. I also watch the new show Body of Proof which has been okay to start. And I watch White Collar which I love.

Wednesdays I watched Human Target but that is over now and likely will be cancelled. I just got back into watching Law & Order SVU as well.

Thursdays I watch Bones and The Mentalist with my mom. I also watch Royal Pains and Fairly Legal.

Fridays, I was watching Medium until it ended as well as The Defenders. And I love Blue Bloods too. Also started watching Camelot on Starz.

Saturdays I was watching the new season of Primeval but that's over now. I also watch Doctor Who when it is in season.

Sundays I've been watching Breakout Kings and just started watching The Killing. I also watched The Walking Dead.

Other shows I watch but can't remember which night they air are Covert Affairs and Luther. Plus Hot in Cleveland and Retired at 35.

So yes, I have no life...LOL

Probably wouldn't get it anyway, just curious if anybody else remembers it or has it on DVD.

Remember it, don't own it.

Remember it! Who could forget Barnabas Collins? There was also Night Gallery, hosted by Rod Serling & The Night Gallery with Kolchak. I loved staying up & watching those shows, not to mention the nightmares they caused me!

I meant, the Night Stalker, with the character Kolchak.

I love Dark Shadows. A local station used to show the reruns of that series and later on Sci-Fi. The storylines were actually really good and what was hilarious e sho the scenes were done in one take because of budget reasons meaning you would see the occasional flubbed lines or a special effect wouldn't always work right, but that was a part of its charm and Nancy Barrett and Lara Parker were babes, lol. It is funny you mention Dark Shadows. You can purchase all the episodes through Amazon (please note Jonathan Frid, the star of the show who played Barnabas, didn't join until late in the first year). I have been purchasing the episodes (there is 40 episodes in a DVD collection) for the last several months and have really been enjoying going back and watching those shoes.

They have actually completed work on a Dark Shadows movie that is supposed to be out later this year. To make this music relevant lol, Alice Cooper has a brief cameo on it.

If you haven't watched the last episode of "The Walking Dead" read no further since there are spoilers.

Anyone else watch the season finale? Any thoughts to the following?

1. Who was in the helicopter

2. Who's the masked man?

3. How come the zombies he had on chains were so docile? Because they had no arms?

4. What's the fortress?

5. Anyone see a Princess Leia/Jabba The Hut scenario with the masked man and the blonde?

I watched the finale. Loved it.

1. Helicopter...no idea who was in it but government types would be my guess if online conspiracy theories are to be believed.

2. Masked man is actually a masked woman. MICHONNE!!!

3. They had no arms and no jaws. Don't know why that makes them so docile though.

4. The fortress is a prison...setting for season 3 most likely.

5. No.

Didn't notice the no jaws part. Wonder what the point is of taking them along....

I think there's a character coming back from the first season, read something kind of hinting at that.

And a masked woman. NICE!

I've been waiting on Merle's reappearance for a while now.   Me and Sandra also thought the masked person was a woman.  We also recognized the fortress as a prison.

Michael Rooker, who plays Merle, apparently has stated that he will be back on the show next season.

On second thought, was the helicopter important other than leading the walkers to the farm?

This week is the network television upfront presentations. This is where the main 5 networks here in the States tell everyone what and when their programs will be airing in the fall.

NBC has announced and other than two returning shows, there is only one new show I'm going to try out.

Fox has two shows coming back that I watch, but none of the new series captured my interest.

ABC has three shows coming back. Two are on the fall schedule while one is being held in reserve. There is a new show coming on that I'm going to check out as well.

Tomorrow CBS announces their schedule and the CW announces on Thursday.

Oh and about 5 or 6 shows that I watch have been canceled.
