American Music Awards

Anyone really waste time watching this crap?  I knew it was on but spent absolutely zero seconds watching it.  I just looked at some of the pictures in a slideshow posted by my local newspaper on line and it looked like the show was even stupider than I thought it would be. 

The state of American Music is horrific.  And that may be making it sound too nice. Anyway, it aggravates me to no end to see people like Kesha, Bieber, New Kids on the Blocks, and all of the sound alike R&B performers take a stage and try to produce a live video version of their "song".  Why cant anyone just take the stage and play? and do it live?!!!

Even my teenaged kids were not interested.  It would be interesting to see the ratings, I hope they were horrible!

I didn't even know it was on. Don't care. Like you Scott, I have no interest in seeing the bull crap "live" performances that go with this show.

I've long since lost interest in any of the music awards shows. And keep in mind that the American Music Awards are largely awarded based on record sales, not actual artistic quality.

Well I plan on getting back on my deathbed. I'm not leaving till I get back the time I watched the 2010 American Music Awards. Oh it will happen :)

Not me. I think the only time I watched was about 10-15 years ago (I think) when Snotty Spew was featured, a comeback or something like that. I remember a promo of just a drum set at a music store, hyping the show and when I asked, they said it was for SS. I think I taped it and fast forwarded it until the played a set or something. Other than that, no interest at all. Justin Bieber does rock though.
